About Ostinato Guitars:
I have been building guitars since 2013, experimenting as I go. I don’t follow a lot of traditional build techniques.
As a consequence I’ve made a lot of kindling. I have a woodstove in the shop though, so that works out OK.
In future digest posts I’ll talk about some of the unusual construction techniques I employ and why I do things the way I do.
This is an avocation, more than a business. I give the instruments away as gifts. I do this because I enjoy it, and for no other reason. I suppose I may sell some guitars sometime, but that is not now my primary focus. My focus is making better and better instruments as an art form, a kind of functional sculpture.
